Full Deck Kit vs. Replacement Connection Kit — Which Do You Need?

Reverso offers two different deck connection products for the OFS system:

• 35-3952-01 (this product) — Complete Deck Kit: The full deck kit assembly including the deck housing and quick-disconnect connection hardware. Use this for a new OFS installation where no deck connection is currently present, or when replacing a complete failed or damaged deck assembly.
• 35-3952-08 — Replacement Connection Kit: Replacement quick-disconnect fittings only — for use when the deck housing is intact and only the connection fitting hardware needs replacement. Significantly lower cost when the housing is in good condition.

If your existing OFS deck housing is in good condition and only the quick-disconnect fittings are worn or damaged, order the 35-3952-08 instead. If the entire deck assembly needs replacement or you are installing OFS for the first time, order the 35-3952-01.

Straight Fitting — Routing Orientation:

The 35-3952-01 uses a straight 3/4" hose barb fitting. The straight configuration routes the internal hose directly in line with the deck port — appropriate when the below-deck hose can run straight down or in line from the deck fitting location without a direction change at the port. How the OFS Deck Kit Works:

The deck kit mounts flush to a deck surface, transom, or gunwale and provides a weatherproof quick-disconnect connection point at the exterior of the vessel. To flush the engine, the operator connects a standard garden hose to the deck fitting, runs the OFS flush cycle, then disconnects the hose — without opening a hatch, accessing the bilge, or working near the engine. The quick-disconnect design allows fast hose connection and disconnection without tools. The 3/4" hose barb connects to the below-deck OFS inlet hose, which routes fresh water to the OFS main unit and engine.
