Shieldsflex II wire reinforced hose is primarily used for straight connections in marine wet exhaust and engine water circulation applications. Designed to resist heat, exhaust gases, ozone, antifreeze, and saltwater. 1 3/8 in. inside diameter. Sold as 50 continuous feet.
- 1 3/8 in. ID hardwall marine exhaust/water hose
- 1 23/32 in. outside diameter
- Ideal for straight connections in wet exhaust systems
- Applications include engine water intake, wet exhaust connections, bilge pump intake/discharge, scupper drain, toilet intake/discharge, and holding tank vent/pump out
- Hose is supported by an outer wire helix imbedded between the hose plies
- Constructed of black, thick-walled synthetic rubber
- 2 plies of synthetic cord
- Formulated to resist engine heat, exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze, and salt water
- -20F to +200F continuous operating temperature range, +250F intermittent
- Bend radius is 5 x the hose ID
