SeaStar Solutions SS13211 NFB Safe-T II Rotary Steering System

Major OEMs use SeaStar Solutions' Safe-T II and so can you! It's the next generation of Safe-T, the world's leading Rotary Steering System, Rugged, Compact, Lightweight and with SeaStar Solutions' No-Feedback Technology.

This Ultra-Smooth, 3-Turn System takes the work out of steering most V-4 outboard powered boats. The Safe-T II Helm is a Drop-In Replacement for Current Generation Safe-T QC with no Dash Modifications!

Suitable For:

- Most Single-Station Boats with a Single Non-Power-Assisted Outboard Engine (Up to V-4) and MINIMAL Engine Flutter or Steering Instability. Safe-T II accepts wheels up to 16-inch diameter.

- Fits: Nearly All Standard Safe-T Steering without Dash Modification.

Note: NFB Safe-T II is available in single cable configuration only.

For OPTIMUM COMFORT on Boats with Engines Greater than V-4 OR Higher HP Engines, SeaStar Recommends using Steering Kit SS147xx.

What Does No-Feedback Mean?

Propeller rotation generates a load on the outboard engine in the direction of its rotation -- The boat is propelled forward causing the load to be fed back to the Helm resulting in a turn to the starboard direction. This prop torque makes it harder to steer a boat safely.

NFB - No Feed Back is a SeaStar Solutions feature built into the helm which locks out steering loads caused by propeller torque thus minimizing the effects of the feedback and minimizing the effort on the operator to steer the boat.

Important: SeaStar Solutions always recommends No-Feedback (NFB) helms for outboard applications.
