Update kit to replace the down angle PCM 40A model 1.23:1 ratio transmission with the 80A model in PCM Ford engine applications.
- Conversion kit for updating the PCM 40A transmission to the PCM 80A model for Ford engines
- Conversion kit for updating the PCM 40A transmission to the PCM 80A model for GM engines with the PCM PowerPlus v-drive
- Kit includes 80A transmission RA157027
- The transmission is 1.23:1 reduction ratio with an 8 degree down angle 4 inch diameter output coupling
- Kit also includes a new damper drive plate, transmission cooler and hoses along with all necessary attaching hardware
- No dimensional changes take place with the update
- The original propshaft, coupler and transmission mounts can be reused
- Replaces RA157027 transmission model 40A
