The Blue Sea Systems ML-Series Heavy Duty Solenoid Switch 7701 is engineered for reliable switching in demanding marine and industrial environments. Rated for 500 amp continuous, 700 amp intermittent, and 1,450 amp 30-second cranking at 12 volts DC, it handles high loads without manual control. Its magnetic latching design consumes no current in steady ON or OFF states, enhancing efficiency by drawing power only during switching. Silver alloy contacts ensure robust, high-reliability connections under load. The 3/8”-16 tin-plated copper studs and one-piece stainless flange nuts deliver superior conductivity and corrosion resistance, while 7/8-inch stud length accommodates multiple cable terminals securely. The unit includes an ML-series remote control contura switch (P/N 2145) and features LED output indication with an optional LED light. Built to withstand harsh conditions, it is IP66 rated for dust and water ingress and complies with ISO 8846 marine and SAE J1171 ignition protection standards, also holding CE certification.
